Jason Barron (Lincoln, MT) - See Jason's video
Winner of the 2009 John Beargrease Marathon Sled Race

I had a chance to test the LEAP product out during the hard winter months of January and February. I was on tour with a small group of my Alaskan huskies, dogs specifically bred for endurance events in near Arctic conditions. My team and I participated in the John Beargrease Marathon 400 mile event in Minnesota, the UP 200 in Michigan, and the Can-Am Crown 250 in Ft. Kent Maine. We finished first in the Beargrease (this is the biggest, most prestigious dog race in the continental US), 5th in the UP, and 2nd in the Can-Am. Now, I am a professional dog musher, and certainly accustomed to finishing in strong positions, but something was different this year. In the past, my dogs would be starting to get pretty tired by the end of a race like the Beargrease, but this year my dogs' were barking and lunging to go at the finish line of the Marathon, and when I unhooked them to put them back in their travel trailer, instead of going straight to sleep as usual, they ate their well deserved meal as if I had not fed them in weeks, absolutely amazing. In the '08 Beargrease, I struggled to stay in front of the second place contender. This year, I left second place behind by over two hours of trail time (this constitutes a huge lead), and earned the coveted Best Kept Team Award, an award that is decided upon by a panel of twelve veterinarians, and given to the team and musher who not only took the best care of his/her dogs, but also to the team who's dog's showed the least amount of fatigue under severe racing conditions. I feel strongly that LEAP played a huge part in this amazing performance by my dogs, and also that it was instrumental in their spectacular recovery rate all throughout the season. With LEAP in my toolbox, I can't wait until next race season. Thank you everybody at Organic Pet Nutrition!

Jerry and Sandy Bath (Lander, WY)

We run a small professional sled dog racing kennel in Wyoming. Due to the nature of our other jobs we do not get to start training until November. This puts us at least 2 months behind our competition so, our training schedule has to increase rapidly.

Last year we tested LEAP on our 16 race dogs with amazing results. Half of those dogs were yearlings so, we should have had more injuries than we did. With only a few sprains that healed extremely quickly.

Our season was amazing with a second in the Green River Classic, a fifth in the International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race, the highest placing rookie in it's 14 year history (biggest race in the lower 48 with a $180,000 purse).  First at the 92nd American Dog Derby in Ashton, Idaho with a record breaking win for the 100 mile race. Over an hour and a half ahead of the second place team.

There is nothing like a team of young dogs all happy and healthy, still ready to go after 8 straight days of stage racing at 50 to 70 miles per day with speeds averaging 13 to 15 mph.

Thanks to Organic Pet Nutrition for a wonderful product. We look forward to many more years of happy and healthy dogs with LEAP.

Bruno Sammartino (Arcata, CA)

LEAP testimonial by Bruno Sammartino Shellhase of Humboldt County, California transcribed by his person, Jeremy Shellhase

I got a chance to try LEAP early.  My doctor put me into a double-blind clinical trial of LEAP a few months ago.  We still haven't heard whether I got the real stuff or not, but even a dog as smart as I am can't really get much from a placebo effect, so I'm really sure I got the real LEAP.  I've been taking it ever since and let me tell you it really helps with the joints.

I'm a mixed breed dog, and I was abandoned by my first set of people who didn't treat me that well for the first year of my life, but it worked out alright when I found my new people.  I'm about 12 years old now and I've always had sort of funny front paws that the doctor thinks are a birth defect.  Sometimes they hurt me to walk on.  If that weren't enough, I tore the ligament in one of my back knees a year or so ago and wasn't a good candidate for surgery.  I know about joints that hurt.

I'm a big dog, about 70 something pounds, though I've been heavier when I was overweight.  Before I started taking LEAP I was starting to have a hard time with steps, having a hard time jumping up into the car, or onto the people bed.  I was starting to spend less time walking around and more lying around.  For a dog whose nickname is "Mr. Enthusiasm", that's a tough way to be.  Well, LEAP's changed that and I'm back to patrolling the yard, jumping up on the bed and into the car, pretty easily.  I really feel great. If you're having joint troubles, bark for LEAP!

Note from Jeremy:  Bruno's really been a lot bouncier and active on LEAP. He's been taking the best joint supplements for years and is on a healthy BARF diet, but after starting LEAP, he's really improved.  If you've got an older dog that seems to be having joint problems, give it a try.

I was referred to your product by Jason Barron, and I just wanted to let you know that I am thrilled with your product! I work for a vet in IL, and have 2 rottweilers that I do a number of sports with. My 5 year old dog had been limping on and off (mostly on) since May, without a real known cause. After a number of x-rays and exams, it was determined that he may have slight calcification of his bicep tendon in his shoulder, and a bit of arthritis in his elbow. I tried strict rest for a couple weeks, along with a course of Rimadyl, which did help. However, after letting him start playing and running again, he was back to limping. I ordered your product about a month ago, and I have already seen a HUGE improvement! He still may limp a little after playing hard for an hour, but his recovery time is amazing! In less than 24 hours, he's completely normal, no lameness at all. Thank you for making this available, I will be using it for my other dogs as well, and recommending it to everyone I know!

Kelly Rogers (Los Angeles, CA)

Hello, My name is Kelly Rogers, and I had the pleasure of meeting John, Mike and Cathy at the Holistic Vet Conference in Reno, NV this last October (I was the rep in the Cloud Star booth across the aisle from them). They had given me a few samples to try on my little chug (chihuahua pug mix), as she has severe patellar luxation. I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I have been very pleased with the results we are seeing. Though her limping has not subsided, she has been far more active. Before we gave her the supplement, she spent most of her day sleeping. Though she still gets plenty of beauty rest, we have seen a significant change in her activity level and are, once again, spending our evenings playing fetch and "chug-a-war". I can only assume that this has to do with a decrease in joint pain since we have started giving her the LEAP. Also, she has a slew of food allergies, and other supplements we have had her on have had ill effects on her skin and coat. I have not seen any type of allergy associated with using the LEAP - a huge relief.

Joey Knudsen (Seattle, WA)

My dog had extremely painful ACLs before we began LEAP treatments. We are so thrilled with the effects we've seen in a very short period of time. Not only does our sweet dog no longer seem to have any more pain, he's much more active, and he's especially fond of the LEAP treats - he loves the flavor and smell! I'm putting LEAP in everyone's food now (all the brothers). Thank you Organic Pet Nutrition!

Fein Yamamoto (San Clemente, CA)

Thank you very much for sending this right away. The horse needs it for his bad feet. The dogs are getting old, big Akita dogs, and are laying down because the legs are weak. Now (since they've been taking LEAP) they get up again. It works wonders!

Keith and Heather Hargrove (Talent, OR)

Thank you so much for recommending "LEAP" organic pet nutrition for aching joints for our dog Shadow. Shadow is a rescue lab/terrier mix. Our sweet boy has the skinny legs of a terrier and the body of a small lab, so he has always had joint issues.

Over the last couple of years, Shadow had become increasingly more sedentary and cranky in his old age (he is 7) due to pain. We have tried many "joint healthy treats" to no avail as we could not get him to eat them. I wouldn't say that he particularly likes the taste of LEAP, but because LEAP is in liquid form, we can dispense it into his mouth with the dropper and he will swallow it. We follow it up with a tasty dog treat. This makes him happy.

When you first told us about LEAP, you said that it could take up to two weeks to start noticing a difference in his physical condition. In Shadow's case we noticed a change on day four of treatment. He showed that old spring in his step and played, really played, something he hadn't done for some time.

On the fifth day during our regular two miles walk/run Shadow ran the whole time. Wow! It was great to see the enthusiasm and his tail wag with happiness. In truth,, I think he might have overdone it, as the next day he was a little stiff. But, we stuck with the regimen and by day seven, we had our good-natured playful pup back.

It has been about a month now, and we are still giving Shadow two droppers of LEAP per day in order to maintain his new found mobility. It has worked so well for our aging dog that we have been tempted to try it ourselves (ha has).

Once again, thank you so much for recommending and helping us find a natural way to improve Shadows quality of life.

The LEAP drops are working great for my dog, Jacob. I have friends with dogs with joint issues. I want to get the word out to them.
